* Duties: Application and user support for Medex forms delivery system, Cypress

* Projects: Medex 1.2/2.3 version migration application. This was a VB.Net ETL
application was designed to ingest field data from all of the Medex version 1.2 form
profiles and convert/produce Medex version 2.3 form profiles that would render similar
results.
* Medex Application Status Monitor: This application was designed to run on the server
housing Medex 2.3 and periodically monitor it’s status. When the application found
Medex to be unstable, it forced an automatic reboot of the service, which minimized after
hours support.

* Projects: Hospital System Registration Quality Assessment application: This ETL
application was designed to load an ASCII text file containing patient registration
information into an MS Access Database through a DAO interface. It then scanned
through each record and processed a list of Q/A checks, marking the appropriate records
in error. It then calculated totals of all records in error, categorized the errors, and then
produced statistical information which was loaded directly into MS Excel Spreadsheets
through VB. The reports were then uploaded to the client’s secure FTP server. It also
produced a simple text report for every registrar containing all of there individual errors,
which was emailed to them automatically. This process took place on a daily basis, 365
days a year.
* HL7 Conversion Utility: This application was designed to search through a given HL7
file and ascertained specific fields associated to the registration data of a patient. Then the
field data was extracted and stored in a MS Access database.
* ChargeMaster Audit: This application was designed to search through the
ChargeMaster database and identify chronological inconsistencies regarding charge
updates. The application also provided a routine to automatically update the database
with minimal user intervention.
